Eligibilty and Guidelines
1. At each distribution, registration for new individuals will be offered. The individual registering must be present to complete the registration and may designate one person to receive food in their place at future distributions. Registration address and income may be updated by the individual at future distributions, and annually in July an updated registration will be required. 2. Any I.D. with photo of applicant and name on it will be acceptable, for example, a school I.D. On distribution day, each eligible recipient or pickup designee must present any photo I.D. to receive food. 3. Applicants will verbally state their total household income and zip code to determine eligibility based using the USDA income guidelines. No proof of income or address necessary. 4. Eligibility will be determined at the time of initial registration and each eligible individual will receive food items that vary for each distribution. 5. If an individual does not meet Livingston Parish residency or USDA’s guidelines at the time of application, they may receive that day but not at future distributions.
